Behavioural blocks that do algebra on signals instead of obeying device physics. One sine drives a multiplier with itself — squaring a sine doubles its frequency and lifts it off zero — and the same sine drives an integrator, which lags it by a quarter cycle. The building blocks of mixers, RMS detectors and analog controllers.
