IGBT chopper pair

10 parts

One 24 V rail, one ground-referenced 2 kHz gate line, two chopper cells: a low-side n-IGBT that conducts while the gate is high and a high-side p-IGBT (emitter on the rail) that conducts while it is low, each chopping the rail into its own RL load. When a switch opens, its inductor forces the load current on through a real freewheel diode — the low-side node clamps at a measured 24.88 V, the high-side node at −0.88 V. The IGBTs are behavioural switch models: a fixed on/off conductance selected by the lagged gate–emitter voltage against a 4 V threshold, so the on-state drop is millivolts — tail current, VCE(sat) and gate charge are not modelled. The freewheel diodes are real junction models.
