Three-phase full-wave bridge
8 parts
Six diodes across a grounded-neutral wye: the top three commutate whichever phase is most positive onto the + rail, the bottom three drag whichever is most negative onto the − rail, and the load hangs between them. Taken on its own against the neutral, each rail is only a half-wave rectifier — probes 2 and 3 measure 4.317–9.288 V and its exact mirror, three bumps per line cycle (15 troughs counted in the 83.3 ms window, 180.00 Hz), which is precisely the picture the half-wave y3rect card shows. The load sees the difference between them, and because the two rails ripple 60° apart their bumps interleave: a measured 13.605–15.883 V with 30 troughs in that same window — 360.00 Hz, six pulses per cycle — and only 2.28 V of ripple on a 15.117 V mean, 15.1 % against the rails' 65.8 %. Six live junction models do the commutating, each dropping a measured 0.712 V at the crest, and the output never comes anywhere near zero.
