Half and full adders

Binary addition as waveforms. A, B and Cin run at 500, 250 and 125 Hz — a binary count — so all eight rows of the truth table sweep past every 8 ms, five times per screen. The half adder's sum is XOR and its carry is AND; the full adder stacks a carry input on top: its sum goes high on odd totals and its carry whenever two or more inputs are up.
